Jackson Blamo, PhD

CEO/ Certified Mediator, Omega Management Consulting, LLC

Dr. Blamo earned his PhD in Organization and Management from Capella University, specializing in human resources, employee relations, and conflict management. As a retired U.S. Navy veteran, he brings special insight to mediation through his diverse multicultural background and over 16 years experience in health care and health administration.

Dr. Blamo has been a mediator since 2007. In 2009, he founded Omega Management Consulting LLC, as a consulting firm in Jacksonville, Florida, that offers a wide range of management consulting in Human Resources, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Employee Relations, Conflict Resolution, Team Building, Organization Climate Assessment, as well as staff training and coaching services.

He has mediated and facilitated hundreds of cases in the workplace for the Departments of Defense and Navy. He also taught Organizational Behavior as an Adjunct Professor at Edward Waters College.

Dr. Blamo has participated in numerous diversity and race relations activities in Jacksonville, including the City of Jacksonville Race Study Circles, as well as served as an Intern with the U. S. State Department Political and Military Affairs.

He has received numerous civilian and military awards. Dr. Blamo is the author of African American Certified Public Accountants: A Phenomenological Study of Mentoring Relationships. He is a member of the National Diversity Council.
